Chair Yoga Training & Certification

This training is open to yoga teachers and others who have a sincere interest and desire to help seniors, office workers, and other various populations that are unable to practice yoga on the mat.  Making yoga accessible to all populations is the goal of this training. Within in the training you will learn how to: adapt mat poses to the chair, sequence a chair class, alignment and modifications for all levels of flexibility, contraindications and precautions, basic anatomy, and breathing techniques so that you can offer a full yoga practice to your students.

The training will be 10 hours of in-person and 2 hours of on-line content. The best way to learn is to practice. Our 2nd Friday, March 17th each teacher will teach a 20-30 minute practice. 

Ann is a YACEP Instructor this course offers 12 hours of CE's for Yoga Alliance.
